2. What data we collect

Data you give us directly: when you submit a consultation, contact, or enquiry form on this site, we collect your name, email address, phone number, and any message or academic/career details you choose to share. This is used solely to respond to your enquiry and provide the consultancy services you have requested.

Data collected automatically: like most websites, we use Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors use our site (pages viewed, approximate location by country, device type, and interactions such as clicking a phone number or submitting a form). This data is aggregated and does not identify you personally. You can opt out of Google Analytics tracking using the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.

Cookies: our site uses essential cookies required for the site and contact forms to function, plus analytics cookies from Google Analytics. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

3. How we use your data

  • To respond to your enquiry and provide free consultation about studying or working in Germany
  • To follow up by phone, email, or WhatsApp regarding the services you have asked about
  • To improve our website and content based on aggregated, anonymised analytics
  • To meet our own legal and accounting obligations

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data to third parties for marketing purposes.

4. Who we share data with

Your enquiry details are processed by our own team and by the third-party service providers that run our website and communications infrastructure, specifically: our web hosting provider (Hostinger), our form-handling and email-delivery software (Fluent Forms and FluentSMTP), and Google Analytics for site analytics. These providers act as data processors on our behalf and are contractually and/or legally bound to protect your data. We do not share your data with any other third party without your consent, unless required by law.

5. How long we keep your data

We retain enquiry and consultation records for as long as needed to provide our services and to comply with legal, tax, and accounting requirements, after which it is deleted or anonymised.

6. Your rights under GDPR

If you are located in the EU/EEA, or your data is processed by us, you have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you
  • Request correction of inaccurate data
  • Request deletion of your data (“right to be forgotten”)
  • Object to or restrict how we process your data
  • Request a copy of your data in a portable format
  • Lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority

To exercise any of these rights, email us at info@admissiongermany.de.

7. Data security

We use industry-standard measures (HTTPS/SSL encryption, access-controlled hosting, spam and bot filtering on our contact forms) to protect the data you share with us against unauthorised access, loss, or misuse.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or for legal reasons. The “last updated” date at the top of this page will always reflect the most recent revision.
