German Language A1–C1
Complete German language levels A1 through C1 before moving forward.
Medical Terminology
Complete C1 Medical Terminology or B2–C1 Medicine Terminology training.
FSP (Fachsprachprüfung)
Clear the temporary medical license exam — a 1-hour test with same-day results.
FSP Exam Structure
Three 20-minute stages, one hour total, results announced the same day.
Doctor to Doctor conversation — a 20-minute clinical discussion between doctors.
Doctor to Patient conversation — a 20-minute simulated patient consultation.
Patient case history — a 20-minute case report based on patient history and treatment.
Pass the FSP and you get a 2-year temporary medical licence, earning €3,000–5,000/month.
If you don’t pass, you can retake the test after 3 months — multiple attempts are allowed.
Degree Evaluation & Approbation
Submit your degree for German translation and attestation.
Reach B2-level German (a 4–5 month course) before applying further.
Clear the Approbation exam / Knowledge Test (Kenntnisprüfung) for your permanent medical licence.
